The Services We Provide

At EJC French Property we pride ourselves on providing a complete service to our clients. The four main areas of our service are as follows:

Search for Property: From the moment a client registers their property requirements with us, our work begins. Clients can select properties from our website, which is updated daily, or we can suggest suitable properties to match their criteria. With our own agency and several associate offices throughout the Provence-Var-Cote d'Azur area, we have a wide range of properties and can usually match a client's criteria with a suitable property. If nothing in their chosen category is immediately available, we work with them over a period of weeks or months advising them as soon as potential properties become available. There is a form on our website for clients to complete, giving us the information we need to assist them. We urge our clients to complete this form as it helps us to provide a better service. The form is at the top of each property page on our website in red entitled 'Click here to send us your property requirements'.

Appointments: Appointments are booked in advance to reserve the dates our clients prefer. We provide a personal service and reserve a half day, full day (or 2-3 days) depending on the number of properties they wish to view. However, it is always wise to allow a little extra time to see other properties which might have just become available, or to re-visit one for a second viewing. When a client confirms a date, we reserve that time for them and prepare an itinerary of viewing which is sent to them in advance so that they have everything they need before they leave home. By booking in advance our clients are guaranteed our personal attention. For this reason we regret that we cannot take clients without an appointment as our time might be fully booked on the day they wish to call in. Just a phone call or email in advance will avoid this.

Purchase of Property: Once a client chooses a property we advise and assist them throughout the purchase procedure, in a language they can understand! This service is provided at no extra charge to our clients when purchasing through our agency or associates. It includes handling all paperwork, dealing directly on their behalf with the Notaire, local authorities, service providers, surveyors etc. and attending with them, or on their behalf, at all formal stages of the transaction. We also assist with arranging mortgages in France and can refer you to reputable foreign exchange companies who guarantee our clients the best rates for their property purchase transfer. We also ensure the smooth transfer of the services and attend to the multitude of small, but important, issues that occur when buying a property. Our service does not stop at completion and we can be contacted at any time afterwards to advise and assist our clients to settle into their new role as owners of a home in France. We like to think that we are not merely selling houses but are helping our clients achieve their dream of a new life and a new life-style in this beautiful part of France.

Sale of Property: Should clients wish to sell their property here, we are pleased to assist. We take full particulars, colour photographs and prepare well-presented property schedules. Details are then advertised on our own website and those of our colleagues in London. Details are also sent to clients with matching property requirements and, if appropriate, advertisements are placed in suitable property publications. We make appointments and conduct the viewing personally. We do not attract passing trade or 'property browsers' by having shop windows in the street. Instead our clients are serious buyers who come not only from Great Britain, but from all over the world. Our method of working also ensures your security and that of your property. Only serious clients will be viewing your property by appointment - not casual browsers who call in 'off the street'.

Consultancy: The service we provide to clients who are purchasing through our agency can also be extended to clients purchasing through other agents. We often find that due to pressure of work, clients purchasing from their home base in the U.K or elsewhere cannot always attend to matters easily themselves. Our consultancy service often starts when a client has seen a house they wish to buy with another agency and requires assistance with the negotiations of the purchase. We can then see through the rest of the transaction in exactly the same way we do for clients who are buying through our own agency. Similarly, consultancy can also be provided on a multitude of other matters which clients might encounter in relation to their property in France.


Charges

We do not charge extra for our services, this is inclusive in the advertised price of the property which is standard procedure in this part of France. Quotations for our consultancy service can be obtained in advance.
